Summer Loving

Let's face it - Summer is sexy. There is something about the hot weather that just raises the sexual pitch for most of us. We get to see that much more, you get to notice men's bodies that much more. And when you're already hot and sticky, why not get hotter and stickier? Nothing like having fun on those hot sweaty nights when you both end up sizzling in bed like two bits of butter in a hot pan.

 

Here in New Zealand we love our summers, and gay men have their own favourite places to go and enjoy it. Camp-grounds like Vinegar Hill and Uretiti have a long happy reputation for providing a real sense of community and connection with long-standing regular visitors coming back year after year, as well as offering a good time of a more carnal nature for those looking.

 

Most cities and towns have a beach or river spot somewhere that gay guys have marked out over time as our own. Whether you're cruising or just lying back and chilling out after an overdose of the rellies at Xmas, it's good to be somewhere with other gay guys. A lot of guys love sex in the outdoors - any why not - so long as you don't scare the straights and no kids are around. There can be something very sexy about a fuck in a grove of trees by a beach or in the sand-dunes. Just be careful where you get the sand.

 

With all that flesh around, and so many more opportunities to enjoy it, remember to pack your condoms and lube along with your sunscreen and towel. There's no reason not to get out there and have fun in the sun with someone, but do it safely so you start the year well. Go for it - let it rip - but if there's no rubber, then beat it.
