Lube is a must-have in every gay guy's toy-box, or beside the bed. Whether you use it for jerking off or fucking, it's a good thing to have handy.

There are so many types out there - if you're using condoms then you need to use a water-based or silicon-based lube. The silicon based ones are more expensive, but you need less of them. Handy hint - don't touch the screen of your smart phone after touching silicon lube! Just sayin...

Of course, arse-fucking isn't the only way gay guys can have fun in bed, but if you're good at it, from either side, it's often the main course. You'll generally find you don't want to get lubed up too early - if you're sucking a mouthful of lube kinda takes away some of the fun. Even those flavoured lubes really aren't that great. Use your hands and mouth for fun as much as oyu like - only go for the lube when you need it.

It's pretty widely available for free in packs with condoms from gay venues all sorted by the NZAF, or you can buy it in bulk from sex-shops, the chemist and even supermarkets.
